Serial Killer Documentaries: “The Ken & Barbie Killers (2007)”
A serial rapist strikes in the suburbs outside Toronto, Canada… years later a serial killer brutally targets young girls in another Canadian town… the bloody trail leads police to a pair of unlikely suspects – a young beautiful, married couple.
Terrific bio-pic style documentary that tells the horrific tale of Paul Bernardo & Karla Homolka, a young, Canadian couple that were not only in love with each other but they were also in love with murder.
“In the spring of 1987, 23-year-old Paul Bernardo met Karla Homolka in a suburban hotel restaurant outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Although still in high school, 17-year-old Karla fell for Paul, immediately. Together, they made a picture-perfect couple, complete with a horse-drawn carriage for their fairy tale wedding. But the seemingly perfect couple was not so perfect after all. Alone, Paul was responsible for nearly 20 rapes throughout the area. And together, they were guilty of drugging, raping and murdering three young girls, one of which was Karla’s 14-year-old sister. They captured most of the assaults on videotape.” Biography
